On Halloween night a Seattle police office was shot and killed while sitting in his patrol car by a gunman (who was later caught) who drove up next to the officers police vehicle.

Today (9-29-09) a gunman walked into a coffee shop in Lakewood, WA and shot and killed four officers while they were having coffee and working on their laptops.  This person has not yet caught.

We at NWLPC can not say enough to the families of how we feel.  Our deepest sympathy.

This is not only an assult law enforcement but to all citizens, not only in Pierce County, WA but to the nation.
